Terribly sorry about my lack of attention to tumblr lately. Ty and I’ve been so busy with moving and getting re-settled that I’ve been completely neglecting my favorite website :) But, alas, no more! So what’s new?

We are finally moved into the new house! It really is great… love everything about it, and our landlords are AMAZING. They are already talking about working deals for us if we decide we wanna buy it. Too cool.

I’ve got two jobs now, I work as Assistant Director of Events for a retirement community as well as the cafe. I’m really only enjoying work at the cafe though.. and since I started the new job, I’ve been losing hours at the cafe, and that makes me sad. I’m considering quitting the new job, going back to the cafe 40 hours a week, and picking up a serving job part time. That was the original plan.. but I got blindsided by paid days off and 1 week of vacation time from the retirement community. But, truth is, I’m only gonna be there for half a year… so is it worth doing 80 hour weeks and no sleep to save up enough money? I’m not so sure.. especially when I know for a fact I can get good money serving. Decisions, decisions…..

Also, here’s the BIG news.. I’m applying to grad school! My first choice school is John Jay in NYC.. they have a Forensic Mental Health Counseling degree that is entirely the jist of what I wanna do. I’m also applying to San Diego State and FSU (bleh). Keep your fingers crossed for me to get into JJC.. and if I do, it’s official.. Ty and I will be in NYC by next August. BYE BYE FLORIDA!!! 

Well, that’s about it in Ashley-land. Now? Gettin’ ready to cheer on my boys (the Saints) as they whoop those Panthers! <3
